Duties of the ARMFA-AFERA General Assembly.
As the supreme decision-making organ, the General Assembly steers ARMFA-AFERA's strategic direction, safeguards good governance, and guides every member Road Maintenance Fund toward better, safer and more sustainable road networks across the continent.
Approves the long-term vision, mission and multi-year strategic plans guiding the association's work across Africa.
Adopts and amends the constitution, by-laws and internal regulations that govern ARMFA-AFERA and its members.
Elects the Executive Committee, ratifies appointments and holds leadership accountable to member funds.
Reviews and approves annual budgets, audited financial statements and the work programme of the Secretariat.
Admits new member Road Maintenance Funds and decides on suspension, withdrawal or other membership matters.
Issues resolutions on continental road maintenance financing, road safety and sustainable infrastructure development.

Acting between General Assembly sessions, the Executive Committee operationalises strategy, supervises the Secretariat and ensures that decisions translate into measurable progress for African road maintenance funds.
Implements General Assembly resolutions and oversees delivery of the multi-year strategic plan and annual work programmes.
Supervises the Permanent Executive Secretariat and the Executive Secretary in daily operations and programme delivery.
Monitors budgets, expenditure and audits, ensuring transparency and value for money across all initiatives.
Coordinates the PSR, TRD and FRC ad hoc committees and regional focal groups for harmonised continental action.
Develops strategic partnerships with development partners, governments and the private sector to advance road maintenance financing.
Prepares activity, financial and strategic reports for the General Assembly and recommends decisions for adoption.
